Mr. Harish Bhatia

Harrish M Bhatia is the Chief Operating Officer of Synergy Media Entertainment Limited (SMEL), the FM Radio Network of the Bhaskar Group operating under the brand name – MY FM. He is the driving force behind Creating the organization – 94.3 My FM. The one that’s built on the principles of Empowerment; Fearlessness; Openness; Creativity & Innovation. Synergy Media has achieved the milestone of ‘Break Even’ in the shortest possible time of two and a half year in the radio industry under his able leadership.

 

He has been honored with the Radio person of the year Award by Global Youth Marketing Forum, 2008 and Pride of the Industry Award for Radio in 2009 by Stars of the Industry Forum. He won the Super Achiever Award by Indira School of Management, Pune in 2005.Mr. Bhatia is an old hand in Bhaskar Group. He has to his credit the launch of Divya Bhaskar in Gujarat in 2003 and Dainik Bhaskar in Rajasthan.

 

Prior to Dainik Bhaskar, he served as the National Product Head at the Korean Multinational LG Electronics in India. He has an extensive experience in setting up new projects He was responsible for the launch of Door Cooling Refrigerators in India from the LG brand which is one of the biggest successes in the Indian market. Prior to that, he worked with brands like Onida & Aristocrat Luggage.He also rolled out the Rural Penetration Campaign for Onida under the project “Gramin Bharat”. He has to his credit the launch & nurturing of Onida & LG’s modern retail channels format. An agile, versatile and multi-tasking Professional, he has been instrumental in many Turnaround Operations & new business set ups in the Industry.
