Ms. Meena Kapoor

Meena Kapoor, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer – Astroyogi.com (Netway India Pvt. Ltd). Meena Kapoor, co-founded Netway India Pvt. Ltd. in the year 2000, the India partner of a UK based technology company, Netway 2000. She launched Astroyogi in 2001 and has since led the firm in evolving its service offerings while guiding it on its substantial growth. She is one of the few woman cofounders and CEO in the internet space in India today and is also recognized as being amongst one of the early movers in the dot com space. 

In 2002 she signed her first partnership with Mantra online, an Airtel property that has since gone offline, and later the same year Astroyogi became a channel partner with MSN India. She has been quick to realize the business potential of the internet and astrology and her business vision has closely reflected this quality.

Prior to starting Astroyogi, she began her career marketing for a UK based Multimedia Company involved in distributing multimedia software in the Indian market, and moved on to handling Corporate Communications for InterGlobe Ltd., a leader in the travel and technology segment in India.

Netway India Pvt Ltd, the India partner of a UK based technology company, Netway 2000 and the holding company of Astroyogi.com, was co-founded by Meena Kapoor in the year 2000. It forayed into the internet business in 2001 with the launch of Astroyogi.com.

Online Partnerships
Astroyogi has channel partnerships with Yahoo! India and Rediff.com and a global partnership with MSN Southeast Asia. It also partners with news and media channels including HT.com, Indian Express, ndtvkhabar.com and zeenews.com. 

Telecom Partnerships 
Astroyogi diversified into the telecom sector in 2004, and became a leading mobile content provider for astrology in the country, and has tie ups with all major operators and aggregators like Reliance, Airtel, TATA, Vodafone and many more. Astroyogi.com has become the preferred partner of telcos within India as well as in the international market; due to its ability to deliver quality content across all VAS platforms including SMS/WAP/GPRS/MMS/IVR. The live astrology call center with in-house astrologers caters to 400 to 500 calls/day and has tied-up with telcos like Reliance, Airtel and TATA Indicom.

Meena spent her childhood in the UK and Canada where she received private schooling and then went on to Jawaharlal Nehru University in India to pursue her post-graduation.
