Paper Presentations
The theme of this edition Milagrow World SME Conference is “My Way, My Vision - from Giant Ideas to Giant Corporations”.
In line with the above aspirational theme, an exclusive session on paper presentation have been planned at this conference. The idea behind the session is for industry and academia to present new ideas, original research and emerging paradigms.
The last date for submission is over (see deadlines here) and we are happy to share that there has been a tremendous response to the call for abstracts.
Topics of interest in WSME Conference 2009- Call for Papers are focused on “MSMEs funding issues” to include:
- Bank lending to MSMEs - How to overcome the aversion.
- Alternative Sources of Funding for MSMEs - What do we need?
- Special Stock Exchange for MSMEs - How will it work?
- Corruption and MSMEs ability to raise funds.
- Effectiveness of Credit Rating in helping MSMEs to raise funds.
- Government funding schemes and their effectiveness.
- Private Sector banks supporting or exploiting the MSMEs?
- Public Sector Banks and the MSME sector.
- Institutional help: Best practices from across the world.
- Why has the Credit Guarantee scheme not had the desired impact?
The submitted papers will undergo double blind refereeing / review by an eminent jury comprising of leading academicians / researchers (as mentioned above).
All finally selected papers will be invited for presentation in the conference and will be published in the conference proceedings and / or in an edited book, which would be released on the occasion of the conference. Selected papers would be presented at the conference.
